I was born in Paarl on 29 May, 1993 and grew up in a small community just north of Franschhoek called Groendal. Growing up, I have always aimed towards inspiring, motivating and giving back to my community. I matriculated at Groendal Secondary in 2010 where after I studied at Boland College in Paarl and completed my National Diploma in Management Assistant.

My passion is the people of our Valley: to see how the children, youth and their families develop in a positive way and succeed in life. I believe we can greatly impact the transformation in this valley through education. I don’t want to look back in 5 years time and think, “I could’ve done more, but I was afraid.” No! In 5 years’ time I want to tell a tale of how fear tried to cheat me out of the best things in life and I didn’t let it. I am a youth of Franschhoek and I want to make a change.

Previously, I served as an Administrative Officer to the Community Interaction Unit at Maties Sport, Stellenbosch University. I believe my unique blend of professional and personal experience and skills has prepared me to changed lives

I have a Postgraduate Diploma in Sport Development and Peace.

I have much to offer in the way of diversity of experience and profession in that I have worked in major industries in my career life: financial administration, events (education programs & projects, sport/workshops/conferences), community development, as facilitator and program manager. Within these industries I have had the opportunity to learn human resource & financial policies, procedures and the protocol necessary to enforce them ethically and without liability. From my work at SASOL as Key Account Manager (SA) and later as senior buyer, I have sharpened my organizational skills, attention to detail and my ability to work with speed and accuracy.

Finally, I feel I will bring the dynamic, self-motivated, goal drive, spirit and value added vision to the Franshhoek Valley community.
